Dee Kyles loves writing action and drama, which she uses to address serious topics that deal with culture, lifestyle, love, and politics. Dee’s writing makes audiences feel infuriated, ecstatic and melancholic all at once. Dee is also a freelance and event photographer and has been for two years now. Her urge to tell stories influenced her skill with photography. Dee Kyles' character development is influenced through photography experience as well as teaching high school English and coaching boy’s basketball in lower-income communities. A Treasured Collection
The Savior and The Sacrifice is a short film about two brothers, Mikel and Johnny on the run. While fleeing dirty police and a rival gang, Mikel has to make a life or death decision that will effect the rest of their lives.
Sunflower is a flash fiction romance drama about a young woman who has fallen in love with another young lady at first site. The protagonist attempts to get the girl to notice her, but soon realizes that it may be harder than she thinks. When she finally gets the attention of the young lady, it's not the way she wanted to make her first impression.
Pick-Up is a short story about a victim's life through his reflections from a small room in a new place he must call home.
